Finishing Digital Pet Portraits: Print Preparation and Delivery
The drawing might be finished, but the portrait isn’t complete until it’s ready for your wall. The final stages of a PawsPal commission involve careful formatting and preparation.
Every portrait is framed by a rough-edged painted rectangle, sitting on a generous margin of warm, off-white paper texture. This built-in "mount" gives the artwork a gallery-ready feel immediately. At the bottom, I add the clean footer strip, featuring the website on the left and my signature on the right.
Before delivery, we ensure the digital file is perfectly formatted for high-quality printing, checking the colour balance and resolution. While Jenna handles the admin to make sure your file arrives safely, my final job is to review the artwork one last time to ensure it meets our studio’s standards.
If you have questions about receiving your final artwork, you'll find all the details on our How It Works page.
